Collaborative Cover Project

» The cover idea is very simple:
some very special artists (the ones T.N.O. loves much), have joined T.N.O. in order to create a collaborative cover in which every artist takes the step from another artist's work.

» The goal of the cover project is to stimulate the artists to develop their own works starting from the previous artist's work; a web application of 'The Conversation' by Milton Glaser and Jean-Michel Folon.

» The works are digital paintings and Flash interactive pieces and every artist is completely free in his creation.

» The inspirations, as well as the expressive modalities, are different, the final work is one and in it different approaches to the Net Art are matched, mixed and melted.

» Considering all the rhetoric that has been produced about collaborative platforms and their impact on global culture, it's easy to feel exhausted, or at the very least tired, by the prospect of more internet discourse.
This is the reason T.N.O. has decided to promote an effective collective work, in stead of rivers of talks.

» The Net's ability to connect (artistic) subjectivities across time and space is going to be clearly showed by T.N.O. collaborative cover.

» The cover will also provide the opportunity to check out the "actual landscape" of the artists involved with the net.
